MOTÖRHEAD KICKS OFF NORTH AMERICAN TOUR IN APRIL 2002 TO PROMOTE NEW ALBUM 'HAMMERED' ON METAL-IS RECORDS Motörhead is headed back out on the road. The faint of heart should now consider themselves warned! Vocalist/bass guitarist Lemmy, lead guitarist Philip Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee begin their latest U.S. concert trek in April to promote the April 9, 2002, release of 'Hammered' on Metal-Is Records, a division of the Sanctuary Records Group.
This will be the first U.S. tour for the legendary speed-metal band in more than two years. 'Hammered' is another pulsating slab of thunder, highlighted by the single "Shut Your Mouth" and other intense tracks like "Walk a Crooked  Mile," "Brave New World," "Kill the World" and "Serial Killer," a disturbing spoken-work piece featuring guest vocals by superstar professional wrestler Triple H of the WWF. PROPHECY, brutal death metal from Texas has just signed to Forever Underground Records. Their new full length CD titled "Our Domain" will be out in June/July 2002. SADISTIC INTENT News & Update:Impure blessings...
To commence, since we last mentioned we would keep you posted on the studio occurrences of SADISTIC INTENT , we would like to apologize for not updating you on the progress (or lack thereof) with the recording of “The Second Coming...”. Those of you reading more than likely already know the basic situation surrounding the detrimental studio experience, so we'll proceed with the present. For the past few months Bernie Versailles (studio/engineer) has been occupied recording not just one, but two full length records with his own groups (Agent Steel/Engine). Therefore, Sadistic Intent has not been in the studio since October, 2001. Regardless, it is imperative for the band that Dark Realm Records must continue and it certainly has been busy in that aspect... Nevertheless, the fact is Bernie also has other projects so unfortunately we expect more delays (hopefully not as long as this last one!), but he has agreed to get back on task with Sadistic Intent by late March and make it a priority. The session has already been through so many set backs that we anticipate things can only get better! Relatively speaking, there is not a lot of re-tracking left so if all goes as planned, the recording should be done by the summer. After that, it will be up to Necropolis Records to schedule a release date.
SADISTIC INTENT -On the subject of recordings, Sadistic Intent has decided to release the cover of "The Exorcist" by the legendary Death Metal gods Possessed, featuring Jeff Becerra on vocals!!! It is a complete honor for Sadistic Intent to have collaborated with such an important and pioneering artist of the Death/Black Metal scene! To simply put it (for those who know Metal history!), the voice behind albums such as "Seven Churches" and "Beyond The Gates"!!! The song has been recorded for a couple years now and finally it shall be released by the cult German label, Iron Pegasus Records! It will be a limited edition picture disc 7" EP, also featuring the re-recorded classic (originally written in 1988!) Sadistic Intent song entitled "Morbid Faith"! This is an exclusive version and not the same one featured on the "Thrashing Holocaust" by Necropolis Records. Further information on "The Exorcist/Morbid Faith" as it comes along...

We would like to thank all of those who helped make these events possible and last but not least, to the diehards who were present at The Destruction Festivals! The next appearance will be in Los Angeles at The Hell Fest 2002 . This is the first L.A. show in well over a year for Sadistic Intent! It also marks the end of an era for the band with it's current line-up. After being a member of the group for over a decade, Vince Cervera has decided to "move on". It was a mutual understanding and now we would like to take this moment to wish him luck. As far as the future of Sadistic Intent, we already have a promising guitar player in mind and will begin rehearsing shortly after The Hell Fest. Once again, another obstacle but it will not stop us! FOREST OF IMPALED "Forward the Spears" sickened birth will eventually be delivered to us. This black/death style has evolved into a more unsettling and cruel mode (and, yes, more brutal than 99's Demonvoid!). This album is a like knife stabs to your face. The Chicago group contains only two original members, guitarists Adrian and Marek. These guys have taken the time to write attention-grabbing and inventive riffs. This modernly monstrous sound is complimented by the rest of the band (consisting of Duane Timlin on drums and Markus Kolar on bass). DEMONCY The recent Demoncy double CD released on Baphomet suffered manufacturing errors. We would like to offer our condolences for a manufacturing mistake on the recent Demoncy double CD, released by Baphomet Records through Red Stream. The CD prints were intended to be dark red, but when the final product was received the manufactures did not mix the colors correctly and the CD prints turned to bright pink. My sincerest apologies to Ixithra and the Demoncy Kult and to all of you who have long anticipated this release. 
ABAZAGORATH Abazagorath's first release since 1998's full length comes in the figure of "The Spirit of Hate for Mankind." This is the first collaboration between Blood Fire Death Records and Red Stream. Two tracks of sadistic Black Metal with influences from the earliest Swedish Death Metal scene (circa 91). METAL BLADE NEWS: CANNIBAL CORPSE is back from Colombia, after show wrap up via Alex Webster.. "We just played two shows in Colombia, in Cali and Bogotá. The audience was killer, and the shows went well. We had a crazy in-store at Tower Records in Cali, we nearly got trampled, the kids overran the signing table, we were surrounded, and they were going wild. We loved it; it was a total adrenaline rush.  The fans in Colombia are REALLY brutal. George got his shirt torn off by fans while shaking hands after the Bogotá show. Colombia's Much Music also covered the Bogotá concert. There was around 600 people at the Cali show, and around 1000 in Bogotá." Alex Webster - Cannibal Corpse.

AXIS OF ADVANCE Some of you will probably know by now that AXIS OF ADVANCE have left BARBARIAN WRATH. This was not due to any form or kind of misunderstanding or disagreement. BARBARIAN WRATH is still in full support of AOA. We´re not big fans of OSMOSE here at BARBARIAN WRATH but we understand that the band could not possibly pass up a chance like that. 

GRAVEWURM will be one of the 4 warrior hordes to appear on BEHOLD THE LEGIONS OF HELL 4 way split 7` to be released this summer on Iron BoneHead Productions. The other bands appearing on this release are: DERKETA, SADOMANIAC and WITCHBURNER. We will also be releasing a tape/Mcd called `Vermin` which has 5 new songs and 3 old ones featuring the nihilistic forces of GELAL NECROSODOMY and DEMONIC of GRAND BELIAL'S KEY. SWORDS AND LEATHER Productions in Brazil is re-releasing the 94 `Massacre in Heaven` demo on tape format. 

MEGIDDO will start recording their 2nd album on March 8th and expect it to be complete by the end of March. The tracks will be 3 demo songs, 4 new tracks and 2 covers (Witch Hunt by ONSLAUGHT and Dance Of the Dead by WARFARE). They also plan to finish recording a few more cover tracks of BEHERIT, MAYHEM and BURZUM.

NUNSLAUGHTERs plans to record in March have been pushed back. Sadist will be helping out the band 9 Shocks Terror on tour in California for almost a month. On his return we will start rehearsing again and we are looking to get into the studio in May to record GOAT. 
We have agreed to release our `Waiting to Kill Christ` demo on FROM BEYOND. The release will be limited to 500 vinyl double LP's and 1000 CD's. Among our other releases.......... The NunSlaughter / Centinex `Hail Germania` will still be released by PAINKILLER but now will be a split picture 10`. Our Demo series of 7`s has been taken over by REVENGE PRODUCTIONS. Dani assures me that as soon as he can he will release `The Guts of Christ` demo as well as the others. I am sure with him at the helm this will go smoothly. 
Our `ONE NIGHT IN HELL` LP's are out on IRON BONEHEAD. They look great. Patrick has fixed the problem that the CD version suffered from and now the art can be viewed in all its glory. He will also be releasing the LP version of `RADIO DAMNATION` originally release by Barbarian Wrath. Both LP's are limited to 500 copies only so get one soon. NunSlaughter would also like to send our thanks out to the mighty GRAND BELIALS KEY for making the most offensive LP `Judeobeast Assination`. WIND OF THE BLACK MOUNTAINS news: The new cd, 'Black Sun Shall Rise', is awaiting the arrival of the lyrics to Moribund from Tchort, to finish the packaging. So, it may be a while before the cd is released now. lol. Only time will tell. The recordings for 'Feasting Upon Christ' and 'Forest of Holocaust' have also been delayed due to adding a new member to WOTBM, and wanting to make sure noone will be disappointed in the least bit with what is to come from us! We have added Tony from Ezurate into the line-up on guitar, and he's been busy learning everything. This now makes us a 3-piece and ready to hit the road very soon!! PROSCRIPTOR IN SLAYER? On Thursday February 7th, Proscriptor from ABSU (Russ R. Givens) was chosen,
out of numerous drummers nationwide, to audition for the almighty SLAYER!With only three days notification to rehearse 11 Slayer songs, Proscriptor was asked to be video taped performing these tracks simultaneously with the original Slayer music. The videocassette was delivered to Slayer's management the next day and then directly sent to Kerry King while on tour in the US. Kerry then asked Proscriptor to audition with him the day of the concert and to select 4 out of the 11 songs of his choice, which were"Postmortem," "Raining Blood," "Disciple," and "Hell Awaits." The audition  was an immense success and now he waits for the final conclusion.
