The "Thrash Attack",Mcd is a re-edition of A 1998 demo, due the great job of Sound Riot is doing promoting it, Incinerator has gotten the recognition Deserved, Are you happy with the Job done by your label and the
media's response?

The "Thrash Attack" Mcd has definately gotten good response all around the world except in Sweden (!). There are just some assholes who look at the songtitles and the coverart (Which is done by the great artist Verwimp!) and
just think it´s just another retro album, but we don´t give a shit about those people, we are here for the thrashing masses! It was great that Sound Riot took the time to release it, since the demo never was officially released.

Are all the demo's songs included in this mcd? Are there any new songs? I Understand all the songs  were re-.recorded,  there were some changes in the lyrics and artwork as well, was it necesary to go trough all this, did
it come out as excpected?

Nothing is re-recorded. The stuff you hear on the Mcd is the demo. It was just remastered. Although I am NOT satisfied with the work of Kjetil Matheussen I am satisfied with the rest of the Mcd. Because we drink so much beer we never had the money to do a proper cover for the demo (Thats why It never was officially released) so Kris´ Cover is the only cover of "Thrash Attack". The lyrics are also the same of course.
Besides " Thrash Attack" INCINERATOR two other demos in 1996, Why wasn't there enough promotion for these demos? Did you self relesased them?
Yeah, we released them ourselves and the first demo got good response in the german and swedish underground (by the same swedish people who didn´t like "Thrash Attack" because "Everyone plays Thrash now", That gives you something to think about!). The second demo was a bit strange.
9 guitar players, and 4 drummers have come and  gone . Does this mean : A-It's no easy to work with you or B- You haven't found anyone with the spirit and desire to be a part of  INCINERATOR?
Lots of different reasons I think.People just wanted to play different music and didn´t like to mosh like hell, drink beer, play thrash and other stuff that we do, so we had to go for session musicians. I am a cool guy to work with!!!Don't  you Think so many changes might affect the stability of the band? I think a steady line up is necessary to mantain the band's identity, unity and concentration?
Well, The only line up change that affected us musically was after the second demo when our co-founder of the band left, since we wrote all music and lyrics together, I had to continue with the writing on my own but now we split the song writing for the new material. It´s frustrating with people leaving the band but without the session boozers we would not be where we are today! Cheers!

You don't see yourselves as a band of the new wave of retrotrash, INCINEARTOR was started in  1995. It's no a new band, and your sound  is not just a cheap copy of the 80's thrash, you obviosuly have KREATOR, DARK
ANGEL Y SLAYER influences in your music, but also have added a great deal of creativity, you are not a clon, you really know to make thrash metal. Not  easy task , i guess. Do you feel there are  still things to be done
concerning to thrash metal?
The scene in thrash metal was small, but still with many bands, when we started out, but most bands didn´t got a deal until just a while ago while some didn´t get one at all. There were many good bands that never got the
recognition they deserved like Sarcastic and Celestial pain. Others got it some time ago like Serpent Obscene, Hypnosia, Thornclad and Defleshed.

THRASH ATTACK is a very popular song title among the new retrotrash bands ( Aura Noir's Black Thrash attack, just to name one) but in my opinión your really give meaning to these words, what do you think?
I like Aura Noirs Black Thrash Attack, but I heard that album after I wrote the song so I didn´t change it. Destruction also has a song that´s named "Thrash attack" but our song is actually called "Storm of the thrasher (Thrash Attack)" hahaha!! I get so fucking proud when you say that we give meaning to the words Thrash attack!! I think I´ll have a beer now!
The lyrics on your previous demos were very socially minded, now you write about of getting shit  faced, partying, and serial killers, Now that we mention serial killers, who is your favorite serial kiler? Is there any Swedish serial killer who hasn't been properly honored?
Well, hahaha!!! My favourite serial killer is Mary Bell, the child from hell, you know? There is a guy called Thomas Quick from sweden that was pretty sick. Who is your favourite Jimmy?
INCINERATOR also shows many influences from the old school of hardcore.Could you name some sick hardcore bands that have any influence when making your songs?
Oh,oh! My MDB-damaged brain don´t know were to draw the line between HC,Punk and thrashcore bands but I like D.R.I., G.B.H., S.O.D., Impulse manslaughter, Napalm death, old Rostok vampires, Righteous pigs, Black flag,
Mob-47 and tons more of that shit! As long as it´s fucking aggressive party music that you can mosh to, with your favourite drinking pals I like it!

Swedish bands like NIFELHEIM, HYPNOSIA, GEHENNA, MAZE OF TORMENT,  are also considered thrash metal bands eventhough some death or black metal influence are presente in their music. What   makes you different from
these or other thrash metal bands?

Nifelheim to me plays Black metal. Gehennah plays dirty fucking...Metal! Maze of torment plays state-of-the-art Death/Thrash, and well...

I just started to play bass in Hypnosia, and to me Hypnosia are pure thrash just
like Incinerator only faster! Incinerator has more... I don´t know! We sound different! We are pure thrash and we dont try ro be something we are not! Never fall into the masses!

If you could pick thee thrash heroes from the 80's to take them to a 3 day of metal and alcohol bash who would you chose? Why?
Hahahaha!!! Oh, man! Steve Digiorgio from sadus (Because I bet he has some good weed!), Tom Araya (Because he is Tom Araya) and Gerre from the booze metallers Tankard (Because I bet he has some good beer!!) That would be
amazing! I would of course invite you Jimmy hahaha!!!

Lets discuss the opposite sex. The females, which female singers or thrash/heavy metal band member would you take to a similar party? Name several if you are the orgy type?
Sabina Classen (Holy moses), Sabina Classen (Temple of the absurd) and Sabina Classen!!! Three of her! hahaha!!
Angel Ripper was a Miner, a very ucommon kind of job. Do any  of  INCINERATOR'S member have odd jobs? Or the kind that demand a lot of effort   (Smashing beer bottles or screwing all day long dont' count?

Hahaha!! Nilzon works in a bakery (!), I am , of course, Unemployed, Wikstén is a computer programmer (!) and Mattsson is... hahaha!! I am not sure what he does ,but he has a job!
Nowadays there are tons of tribute and cover albums going around. Some are great,  others plainly suck . What do you think  about them ? have  you been part  of a tribute álbum? Have you thought about doing covers? Which
bands would you cose to cover?
I think it´s funny to hear covers! The slaytanic slaughter records are good. The BEST cover I have ever heard on one of those tribute  album has to be Pingus inferno doing the Venom song "Seven gates of hell"!Some covers are good stuff, others , as you say, suck! We would love to be  on a tribute album! We would mosh like hell!
Tell us something about your next recording, your debut álbum. I understand it will be ready in the beggining of 2001?
Hmm... we are just waiting for Sound Riot to hand over some cash and we will mosh like hell in the studio and record the album, Which will be mostly old "re-made" demo tracks ! It will be very violent, dirty and fast as usual. It
will be made for people who mosh like hell, drinks beer, disturbs normal people without MDB damage and for all the thrashing forces out there!!

O.K Lenny any message  for all thrash metal fans?
Get in touch fo trades! what the fuck, get in touch for anything you like. I have to say though that we have no shirts available anymore! Never fall into the masses! Thanx Jimmy, for this interview! Very cool stuff!
Only death is real!!!
