1 FIRST OF ALL TELL US ABOUT SCHOLOMANCE   BAND NAME, LIKE THE MEANING, ETC
The Scholomance was a legendary school of the occult in ancient Romania.Legend says that the Draculs attended there. The story is that the devil himself taught secrets of alchemy, nature and other mysteries. 10 scholars were taken in and the tenth was kept by the devil as his servant. This 10th scholar was given a mighty dragon steed which sleeps beneath a lake ofinfinite depth somewhere secluded in the mountains. A king's treasure is told to be hidden in the lake as well.
2. I SEE A BIG INFLUENCE OF CLASICAL MUSIC IN YOUR SONGS, HOW IS THE PROCESS TO COMPOSE A SONG
Yeah, we are big fans of classical music. We like Beethoven, Scriabin,Rachmaninoff   and more. We tend to approach writing a song as one theme. We know how the entire thing should sound when it begins including different movements and so forth. It takes a really long time to do one of our songs. I spend hours and hours on them. I just lock myself in a room and compose when I am inspired. Then when everything is arranged, we practice them as a band for many more days. Our songs constantly evolve.
3. PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THE DRUM PART IN YOUR CD, DO YOU HAVE A DRUM MACHIME (PROGRAMING DRUMS) IN ALL "A TREATISE ON LOVE"
Yes we do use a machine. It works well for us. Many people can't even tell it is a machine. I spend hours upon hours programming the drums to be as interesting and complimentary as possible. I played drums in the past so I generally have a good knowledge of the instrument. We also have very good equipment so the digital sounds we use are very accurate and realistic.
4. ABOUT THE LYRICS, THE FIRST PART(FIRST FOUR SONGS) OF "A TREATISE ON LOVE"ARE CONCEPTUAL

LYRICS, TELL US MORE ABOUT THIS?
This story, if it can be called such, is based on the pain that love can cause in life. It is a very personal concept.
Each song deals with differing emotions and feelings. Some songs are a direct result of certain people in my life.It reveals the evil of human relationships in a darkly poetic manner. It is about demons in the guise of angels, bitterness, loss and betrayal by those close to me. I fashioned the lyrics in some strange ways at times. They stand as very unique among metal lyrics. The next cd will continue some of these themes.
5.ALSO ABOUT THE LYRICS, I SEE SOME NIETZCHE¨S INFLUENCE, ALSO YOU TALK ABOUT SCRIABIN, TELL MORE ABOUT THIS WRITTER(UNKNOWN FOR ME)
Yes, Nietzche is definately an influence. Jimmy is very much entranced by his writing. Alexandr Scriabin was actually better known as a Russian composer  of classical music. He was an extraordinary pianist and performer. He attended school along with Rachmaninoff (another influence of ours) However, Scriabin also wrote poetry and philosophy. His ideas were quite complex. He nearly believed himself to be a being of godly proportions, and in some ways, he was.His Poem of Ecstasy is a must read piece of Russian literature. He had something of every emotion in his writing.
6.DO YOU THINK DO SOME GIGS, OR YOUR ARE A STUDIO BAND
We play gigs occasionally. We don't get many opportunities here. There are not really any other metal bands in or near our city. Our jobs and school classes keep us from travelling very much. Our music comes across very powerful live though. We have ways of making everything from the cd work out great. Our sound is more heavy live, and the guitars are much more dominant.
7.IN YOUR BIO, YOU TALK ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF VIRTUOSISM AND GOOD TECHNIC IN METAL MUSIC. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT SIMPLE BUT GREAT BANDS LIKE MOTORHEAD OR VENOM

We think it is of great importance to play your instrument well. We believe that you should be the absolute best you can be and strive for superiority in music and life. None of us have ever been into Venom or Motorhead. We find them to be kind aboring. As far as older bands, we like Iron Maiden a lot and Ozzy/Black Sabbath.
8.I THINK THAT YOUR MUSIC IS LIKE A SOUNDTRACK FOR CLASSIC GREEK TRAGEDY,DO YOU HAVE SOME SPECIAL INTEREST IN GREEK MITHOLOGY AND CULTURE
It's funny that we get this comparison to Greek culture or music a lot.I like
Rotting Christ quite a bit these days but we don't sound too much like them. I was always interested in the Greek stories ever since I was a child. I liked the monsters  the heroes, the huge imagination of it all.Greece probably has the world's greatest mythology by far.
9. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR MUSICAL STUDY ARE YOU A PROFESSIONAL MUSIC
Personally, I know nothing about music theory, other than for me, it is a complete and total waste of time. I have always preferred to learn things on my own and I believe theory to be limiting on creativity. Jimmy is slightly educated in music although he taught himself most of what he knows. We just spend a large amount of time practicing as a band and individually. I am going to college learning computer programming while also doing some minor architectural drawing for money and Jimmy works a job doing maintenance.
10.SOMETHING TO ADD
Thanks a lot for this chance to speak out. We appreciate yours and everyone
else's support. Check out A Treatise On Love. It is an entire concept Piece,
the music, the art, the lyrics are all crafted to stand as one of the most unique themes in the metal underground! It is 51 minutes in length, original color art throughout and is well recorded for great sound quality.
