Biography: |
MEDUSA
was formed in Swan Hill Victoria by bassist Wez and original vocalist
Phil, together with guitarist Richie and drummer Rik. After re-locating to
Melbourne Medusa have played the Melbourne metal scene, at venues such
as:- Billboard, Edwards Tavern, Central Club and The Cathouse, just to
name a few...
After dealing with a few line-up changes over the years, the band has now
settled with guitarist Greg and drummer Patrick.
In addition to gigging regularly around Melbourne we have reccently
completed a successful tour of South Australia in late April.

Formed
ten years ago, this band from Melbourne Australia has done their debut CD/EP of
thrash melody metal with influences from Forbidden, AC/DC, Motorhead and more of
the Megadeth. The technique and the quality of the musicians is obvious very
high, just like the spirits of the 80´s, present in each one of the members of
the band. That are five themes in which my favorite one is “Speed Demon”,
high speed and excellent riff that would lift you up inviting you to a head
spinner. The Australian scene definitely has bands for all tastes and its great
majority of an excellent quality.
