Yes Jimmy, Andy is long gone ! the new drummer was a pussie also and after we returned from Mexico he also quit the cult ! we are currently jamming with Garret from chicago band CORPSE VOMIT pre-paring to play the OHIO DEATH FEST 2002 in april , then record our new cd for MORBID RECORDS «WAITING FOR HIS RETURN « in june for late 2002 world release !!!
What can you tell us about of your Mexican tour?
Playing Mexico was the greatest thing we have ever done, our friends from MORBID VISIONS RECORDS (MEX.)took care of us with the best of everything from transportation , to food and MODELO BEER !!! we had met in Mexico the most brutal fans in the entire world jimmy . I only wish to return a.s.a.p. with my friends in DISGORGE (MEX.). hopefully we will have gigs next time in Columbia also Jimmy ? that would rule man!!!
You recently signed with MORBID RECORDS , and announced your next cd’s title "Waiting For His Return". I guess you must be pleased with the job of Evan March and Deathgasm Recs for the promotion of Blood Of The Saints and your debut album Blackest Hymns Of God Disgrace? even with the label being so small?
About the work of DEATHGASM RECORDS it takes a very long time for them to get out our cds but i cant complain as they are so small a label with limited fundings , but its been ok for us . MORBID REC. are doing so much more since they have more money so its been a wise step for us to make at this stage. Our band is very lucky since were only around for 5 short years so far .
When a band signs with a bigger label , I wonder what the motives are; in your case, what made you leave the label that showed you to the world, and what did you ask the label for they couldn’t comply with?
Well Deathgasm cant put out cds as fast for promos or as many, they cant take out ads and dont have store distro in Europe, they cant pay tour su pport or book large tours with agencies like Morbid can .
Blackest Hymns Of God’s Disgrace Is a masterpiece of infernal christ hating death metal. I see you are playing all over U.S.A, and soon you’ll be touring EUROPE, you even talked about a trip to South America. This means the response to your debut album has been great, are you happywith your job on this album, and the sales?
Yes the response has been awesome world wide ! the cd will be a landmark in death metal history, it is just know getting recognition like it deserves so we anticipate even more recognition upon completion of some tours / festivals ! looks like we are selling a average amount of cds for a band of our stature in the scene but it gets better and better every single day, and i thank my lord satan and promise him i shall domy very best to spread his hate for christ far and wide

Tell us about your days in NUM SKULL. How did NUM SKULL influence the creation of Evil Incarnate?
Num Skull was great Jimmy, i learned all the things i needed with that awesome 3 1/2 year experience with them , studio , stage , and writing/promotion !
According to you bio, EVIL INCARNATE was started in 1994 under the name APOLLYN. why did you change it to E.I?
Well from now on im changing that
since Evil Incarnate didnt surface till the 1997 self titled demo, before that
APOLLYN wasnt really a band just a vision of the future in Evil Inc.
Your Demos Beyond Blasphemy and Deliverance from Salvation
were recorded under the name APOLLYN. Did you self-produce them ? What kind of
promoting did they get? Have you thought about a re-release?
These will probly never be released again . the songs from 1996 demo "Deliverance from salvation" are re-recorded on other cds though, The three songs are "the sacrificial lamb" on demo. 1997 , and other two songs are "The Blackest Hymns of Gods Disgrace" & "Legions Of Christian Pigs" both on BLACKEST CD !.The two songs on Apollyn demo " Beyond Blasphemy" arent good enough, both of these tapes never recieved more than 50 to 100 or so copies around the world to zines/radio/friends a piece .i still have copies some place at home in a box somewhere , he he he !!!
Your next two demos Evil Incarnate and Christ Destroyed were include on your CD Blood Of The Saints with Deathgasm Recs, The title comes from a song on Christ Destroyed, a demo which fully show the music potential E.I had to offer at the time, and then left no doubt about it with your debut album, do you think your next cd will have better songs than B.H.O.G.D?Are there any things you think you need to Improve?
Well my guitarist Rob and i have both gotten a lot better since the last cd so im positive it will be even better, the best improvement will be in my lyrics and vocals plus the giutar riffs are showing our unique playing style as for rythmes go, you will soon see what i mean i promise .
You have appeared in many tri bute comps. Done by Dwell Recs, I’ve only had the chance to listen your version of SLAYER’s Die By Sword, still there are 4 other tributes. Which one did you sign on, and which one would you have done better?

Venom/Sabbath since i was in jail , but i signed the contracts just got arrested

I understand you didn’t participate in a couple of Recordings because you were was serving a jail sentence . I guess your crime wasn’t bad enough to deserve the electric chair-...How did you get out?......Good conduct or escape. hahahah?
My conduct was far from good but there was nothing more than a few lockdowns and a change of cell due to nearing a fist fight and another altercation with a celly of mine, i had already served 3 years probation and several short jail stays on my case before i was revoked so my sentance was only 6 months in county jail. Its like a motel in there almost compared to other jails so it was nothing , really ! i ran 4 years and my case was old so they were leanient on me ,or maybe satan helped so i can creat hate for him in Evil Inc. ? but it was a bigtime felony for distribution of LSD, i really should have went to prison but it seem’s somebody below likes me in hell i guess Jimmy
Does the American justice work? What do you think of an American drug dealer being sentenced to five years and the a Colombian drug dealer being sentenced to life for the same offense?
Well i dont know much about justice in columbia Jimmy but life is a long time for most people, actually in USA if your sentanced to 5 years in prison you can usually get out in 2 ! USA is the best place to serve jail/prison time because it is easy here !i personally feel if people like drugs so what ! the governments should let them do it , its their money and body !

Blood Of The Saints shows two naked broads involved in some dark ritual, where did you get the picture? ..Are they a couple of slaves followers of E.I?..(I really envy you.. Mike..) and Who made the cover for BHOGD? I’ts really blasphemic and truly represents your music.
Yes they are some past fuck slaves , he he he !!! as for the artwork Juanjo Castellano from spain done the art, his web url is in our cd under our thanks lists ! he is also finnished with our new customized artwork for our next cd on MORBID called "Waiting for his return" . it is killer art man ! How important is the image for a dark band like E.I, I really haven’t seen too many pictures of the band? ,There are some pics in theL ine of SARCOFAGO, POSSESSED, VENOM?
Image is important of course but we never used things like spikes and swords/axes, we are more death metal than black metal so make-up is out of the question for us, i guess the music mostly speaks for itself, i never enjoyed taking photo’s, we are going to start taking more for the new cd , ill send you some jimmy !
Your music and attitude have a lot of the old style of metal. Which of the modern bands do you like , and think comes close to your attitude?
hmmm , i enjoy bands like BATHORY / CELTIC FROST / DEATH / DISMEMBER / DEICIDE / SLAYER / JUDAS PRIEST/ DARK ANGEL / INCANTATION mostly, old school dominantly of course, but i like new bands like ABHORRENCE/ MASACRE / AVENGER / SEVERE TORCHURE / MORGUE / DISGORGE, i listen to a lot of bands bro. ! to many to name !

Of course like i before mentioned ABHORRENCE / MASACRE are killer bands as are KRISIUN, the others i havent heard but i really enjoy the bands from these countries you mention, in these places life is brutal so metal is a way of life i highly respect these bands !
