The concept is on the cult of the KU. The KU are those entities who have died violent death’s. The Ku hieroglyph comports many meanings, foremost of which is ‘black magic’. As an ideograph the Ku is at least 3000 years old and the cult enshrines a system analogous to the voodou mystery of the 256 venoms used ostensibly for aquiring great wealth and/or for encompassing vengeance! The basic concept is preserved in the YI KING where it appears as the eighteenth hexagram. The 2 elemental trigrams comprising the hexagram are those of earth and air now the superpositionimg of the earth trigram above that of air suggests suffocation or choking and the spirits/entities of the KU are the vehicals of the Ophidian venoms which devour or suffocate the living on earth in the ‘violent deaths’(256 venoms-virus!). In popular belief the KU is a malignant haunter of the dark who snatched the souls of the dead! The Ku is in connection to the cult of the black snake; also known as The Mystere du Zombeeisme, hence the sorcerer extracts the venoms of the Ophidian current and manifests from it’s extraterrestial origin to descend and "eat the brains of men".

It’s just basically because Cacophonous us garbage for us and didn’t promote the "Atlantean Wardragon" good at all!! Things never got across good with them as far as honest communication. So naturally this was a waste. Then Soul Sold was really interested in us and made a good first impression until they never came through on any of their agreements so we fucking put a halt to that bad situation before we got in too deep with them in debets! But Metal War Productions and Blood Storm are A true lable and band team combination! We all sat down and made the agreemant strong as steel. Metal War Productions has did more for us then Cacophonous/Nightfall & Soul Sold Records have done put together!!!

Aaahhh....Chris Forbes did tons of undergroud promotion and I think he does great on his part. Everything was a delay basically. I think the whole package came to gether well. I just wish things were handled with more conviction and dedication to the release of the CD. Uh....well...I didn’t want to wait 2 or 3 years to get the next album/Cd out! Plus they needed to get somebody to do licensing for the rest of the world so everyone overseas can get it!!! IT’S IMPORTANT! There both extremely hard to get answers from, they were too slow, They needed to promote better. Here’s the great end I had total controll of the recording, production and mastering of the "Pestilence From The Dragonstar" album. Chris does his part good. He should get more controll and things would be alot better I think.

We got a new album of great quality, good promotion, I more ads for "Ancient Wraith Of KU" then all the other releases put together as well! They put out a proshot video and got featured on the "American Underground Onslaught" video comp. More national radio airplay, they put merchandise of great quality for us, I see Blood Storm on tons more distro lists and in more record stores, Plus to top it a small underground lable gave us tour support for our October American tour with ENTHRONED!!! At least we are getting what we need done! Small or not right! Needless to say that we are extremely happy with our deal!!!

Yes of course I feel extremely comfortable with what I’ve created with Blood Storm!! If not I wouldn’t have it exsist! Well, I started Blood Storm soley because of the extreme lack of sincer metal tyrants to join in the band at the start. I wanted to begin the occult metal terror uncorrupted by the wrong influences! I felt that I real order to find the right members in the band would be to start by myself and let my music grow onto the metal world to usurp A certain influence upon individuals who were looking for the same kind of power and extreme visions as I have. In time the theory became true when over the years I found Axarcuth and Deyaxulgaat to join in Blood Storm full time. It was essential for Blood Storm to be A live act as well so yes I needed to have other ophidian sorcerers to preform live sonic torment metal live!!! I look forward to playing shows!!! You had the help of Frank Gamble in your demos, is he your brother? Is he still playing with BLOOD STORM ?

Yes he’s my real brother and he’s been in Blood Storm since the beginning. As of now he’s still with us, but he’s 35 and he’s getting burnt out! We may have session members live for awhile until futher notice.

I don’t need to live off of the past to make my future fulfilled by GOREAPHOBIA. I’m proud of my past with GOREAPHOBIA and I have great fond memories with the old band, but Blood Storm is what I always wanted Goreaphobia to be! The other members at the end of Goreaphobia wanted to go more commercial with the music and I wanted more extreme metal occult chaos!!! Blood Storm is my pure completion in metallic wizardry! that’s all I need honestly.

Basically from what I just stated in my last answer. It was I who wanted Goreaphobia to be more harsh and nihilistic occult black death thrash!My extreme metal musical interest has never changed at all. It’s just with Goreaphobia it was myself and Alex that combined our ideas and influences together getting that sound. The top inspirations at the beginning of Goreaphobia was Celtic Frost,Repulsion,Necrovore, Necrophagia, Merciful Fate. When all that shit happened to the band until 1992 it was other members of Goreaphobia that clouded the concepts and material. My ideas have always been the same as they are today so nothings changed with me, it’s just now Blood Storm was my solo creation and I write all the music! So your hearing all of my elements 100% in the song writting and occult concepts. As I stated before, Blood Storm is the successor of Goreaphobia

I had to break up Goreaphobia because it became stagnent and disillusioned with the other members involved. I’m proud of what I did with Goreaphobia and I have tons of great memories with bands and friends. I want to cherish those times with Goreaphobia and leave it with dignity and respect. Lack of sincer dedication to the true nature of the bands metal spirit was killed by greed, arrogance, weak commercialized attitude; and most of all, the abondenment of the pure, uncompromizing, extreme metal attributes that made the band strong! All the other members at the time wanted to stay away from the terms of extreme underground metal and incorporate non-metal sounds and song writting into the band! Once I seen that this was gone out of every moral fiber that I had for the band, I decided in the best interest of the name and the fans that loved the music to dissove Goreaphobia gracefully. Now again to this day the so called reunion broke up before they even got reorganized! It show that history will repete itself if you rely on the unreliable! I can’t judge the 2 song promo because to myself it’s not Goreaphobia, therefore, I feel it’s no concern of mine. It’s different so I think it’s better to let the metal underground voice thier like or dislike of the new music.

Well, I think that the conceald arts of arcane knowledge is something that has been with me since my early teen years. I was always into supernatural phenomineon and what the soul really was in us. Basically that was my start with investigating the minds of magicians. It was in the spring of 1990 that I was introduced to my occult adviser. Some of the subject manner is the same in Blood Storm and Absu when it comes to the ancient Summarians, Babalonian,Mesopotamian mysteries and magic. But generally it’s coming from different approaches. Again I don’t judge a bands concept or ideas of subjects! People will see what they want to see and their ways are ok for them. I see all the things I write about and it’s obvious that other people don’t see the forest for the trees in what I’m writting about, however there seems to be a common interest and power that others feel what we all feel collectively. People will express their visions to a way they relate to those subjects.

I mainly write the music as well as the lyrics, but when Axarcuth or Deyaxulgaat have any simular riffs or parts on guitar that fit with the main structure then of course we will incorporate it into the song. So it can vare through songs how other ideas are written. I come up with the main music idea and writting and when another member has fiiting material written then it’s inclueded.

The video includs 3 proshot songs showing the bands side of occult concepts along with A wizardscope of A live proformance. Plus, you’ll find A live video clip from CBGB’s in New York. The idea is simply to show the fans A vision of the lyrical sorceries incorporated into the aggression of the live appearances! We shot all 3 videos here in Philadelphia at a quite park in March of 2001 for "Invaders Of Darkness" & "Nibiru Assassins". "Clavicula Solomonis" was shot on the river front about 2 miles from my house under a bridge. It was also in March of 2001. The sorcery images were filmed in my basement. the whole project took us 7 months to film, edit, fix the special effects and master. It was alot of work getting it done!

The "Howle Of Pain and Fury" was an official live video sound broad recording of the 1997 Milwaukee Metal Fest. It was released by Chanteloup Creations France. The time we had Sir Proscriptor McGovern executing drums live for us was a great special show for us!!! It was one of the greatest shows we’ve done! The show was video taped yes, but it was not released by us or anyone else! Fans filmed the show and it got traded very quickly in the underground I hear! Proscriptor filled in for us at that time because my brother could not preform any shows at that time because ofpersonal reasons.

Besides working with ABSU, you have also worked with DEMONIC CHRIST, rigth? Will you continue appearing with them or dedicate all your efforts to promote your new album?

Yes I did practice with Demonic Christ a few months before I was asked to work with Absu for their first European tour in 1995. Dana Clayton (Duffy) is a good friend of mine and she wanted to get another guitarest in Demonic Christ so I went down to North Carolina 2 times to work with the band. Things were cool and I had a good time working with Demonic Christ, but when Absu asked me to join them for the tours in ’95 I knew that was more comfortable for me because we had a much more common backround in what we all wanted in this extreme metal art form! Obviously, it was the right choice! Now, at this stage of what I’ve accomplished with Blood Storm I dedicate all my time to my musical entity. However if Dana or Absu ever wanted my help again I would be honored to play with my great metal comrades once again! But Blood Storm does always come first!!!Rigth now the american black metal scene is living their greatest moment. All the great bands are finding great support, specially in Europe. Which band you consider the best of this new wave of black metal ? What about the albums?For America I’d say bands like Black Witchery, Absu, Sadistic Intent, Cult Of Daath, Demonic Christ, Grand Belial’s Key, Abazagoroth, Thornspawn, Khisanth, Ibex Throne, and there’s many more but I can’t think of them all now sorry! But I do feel that A merica does have some great potential in the chaotic realm of extreme black metal! As far as new albums to come out in America that I’ve heard I’d say that the Absu"Tara" and Black Witchery "Desecration of the Holy Kingdom" are the finest releases thus far this year!

After the release of the "Ancient Wraith Of KU" we have seen ALOT more growth for us in Europe!! Promotion has been good so far for this album and it seems to continue! I feel that Europe has been extremely supportive of Blood Storm now. I believe it’s because people can actually get our album over there now much better then all our previous releases! I have every intention for Blood Storm to get a tour over in Europe this year! We are preseantly working on this goal!

I don’t know really what to say about their situation these days!? I guess after all those years of bands saying to hell with America they wore themseleves out as they we getting nowhere fast with that attitude. Finally it seems that once they came to America for the first time the realized that they made more popularity for their names and they liked the attention and of course the money that they could get touring over here, it seemed that their attitudes changed to fuck America-to let’s plan a big tour over their with some of those American bands that we said we hated! Henceforth comes the big money $$$. I’d blame them for wanting to tour and make a good name forthemselves and for giving the metal scene here in America to start getting more involved in the scene to make things happen! Metal bands need to tour to really strengthen their bands existence. that’s just my outlook on that not all would agree I’m sure but..... In general, I’m very excited about todays extreme metal underground because there are more devoted fans and bands out there making these great bonds with bands and fans! I see alot of pissed and metal hungry maniacs looking for this extreme metal magic to ignite the thundering spirit inside them! I see great unity with most fans and the bands this year then in the last!!! I think the extreme scene in metal has begun to cast away the weak! The bands that have stayed strong in their music are creating even more raw and cut throat metal ablums and the fans are mightier then ever! I salute you all out there!!!

That depends. It depends on the band, the situation, and all other factors involved in what’s going on in that particular scene. When one make strong bosts it cover some sort of hidden threat they see.......

Yes, we are happy with the result of it. I don’t want to say publicly what other extra cover ideas we have because if we do them then it will be the first time done(we hope!). Yes we did a Venom tribute for Dwell Records. We covered "Satanachist".

The metal that made me what I am are these few greats: Necrovore, Pentagram(chile), Incubus(florida), Venom, Celtic Frost/Hellhammer, Bathory, Possessed, Razor, Exciter, Slaughter(canada), Bulldozer, Voi Vod, Destruction, Dark Angel, Sodom, Sam Hain/Des Exault(holland), Kreator, Whiplash, Motorhead, Onslaught, Nasty Savage, Assassin, At War, Blood Feast, Slayer, Necrophagia, Repulsion, Coroner, Holocross, Necronomicon(swiss), Piledriver, Hallow’s Eve, Death Row, Aggression, ect,ect...As far as melodic music Diamond Galas is about it! I like certain sound tracks from moves like Conan The Barbarian, Road Warrior, Excalibur.

The ‘passages’ between some of the songs are representing the progressions of the cult of the black snake’s influence from the Ophidian current which is the magikal vessal evokating the extraterrestial venoms to poison the Earth. They are in the tone keys to each ritual stage encoded in the ‘vocaled’ passage. No the 6 passages are in total retrospect of the formulas evoked to these altered states of magic therein.

Well, the passages are just that. It’s the music that really needs track listing. The passages are to have a seperate influence among the songs. the cover of Slaughters "The Curse" was a hidden track.
