If there is a CD that I have enjoyed lately, this would be "Don't trust". Killer German Grind/Death. There's no break time. This is only riff after riff. Harmony Dies already has achieved the status they deserve in the Death German scene. Read this interview to know what their guitarist thinks about
all this.

Begin to talking about your split single with Krisiun,who was the person that made it? and what was the impact? and in what way Harmony Dies help you to the death metal scene know you?
We got the offer for that through Morbid Records, and of course we did it, the first time there was not such big response but later after the first Tour of Krisiun here in Germany and Europe, it was some years
after the release of the split, there was like a big run on this 7" and of course it helps us too, to spread our name outside of our area. So we go on in our way and i have no clue how important is H.D. or how known is Harmony Dies in the scene.
Harmony Dies have three demos , i have not the oppotunity to hear them. Do you think reedit or do you have the proposal of reediting in cd?
We have these four demos, but now i would say that we don´t will reedit next time maybe later, it´s not in our case.
There are a very good aceptaion of death/grind in germany, very different situation to another countries in Europe. Why do you consider that this happen?
Metal is realy big in Germany all the different styles, and so Death/Grind has a lot of fans too, the scene is not as big as in the
earlier 90ties but the guys realy strong to the music and that is what count for the scene.
Every time that i hear you work i enjoy very much . I find many influences of terrorizer , Morbid angel mix with your own touch, what
other bands influenece the Don't Trust creation?Our biggest influence comes from the american Death/Grind with Bands

like Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus and Bands like that, we are realy impressed by this brutal sickness. I can´t say which is our influence in the music, there a lot of stuff, but i can say we make the music we wanna do, it comes realy from us .
Your first demo "Living corpses" was made at 1992, seven years ago, you have the original line up or have you had changes?
We had a lot of changes since that time, i´ve been in the Band since ´92 but i´m not an original member, but the oldest now, all the guys quit because of musical interest or private reasons. There was no big trouble
or something.
What is the public answer and the reviews in the bigger press for Don't Trust?
The most was realy cool for us, o.k. we make no inovasion or something realy new, but it is accepted that we do brutal and raw music in a old school way. Thats all what we wanna do.
Harmony Dies have made gigs with Vader Deeds of flesh , Incantation, krisiun, Avulsed and another, what band do you feel more identificate and with whom would you like to share stage again?
First i had to say that we would play with all the Bands again, it was a good all the time so we are ready. We can indentificate with Bands who life for their music.
Tell me more about the cover art in Don't Trust?
The cover is painted by a friend he is a student of art, and we talk to
him about our ideas for the cover and i would say he did it very good.
It shows some beings melting together as one other try to become
invidual, there is a lot space for your own imagination.
Songs such us "Pulsating uterine" "Execution" and "Something Dies" are for me an example of how must be   a good death/grind song. Explain your songwriting process?

Thats different most the time somebody of us come with the songidea, we check it out with drums and the other guitars and maybe change something, and there is it
Ars metalli is a label that i hear few things , what other bands are with this label? and are you satisfied with his work to Harmony Dies?
Ars metalli has very different Bands, such as Menhir (Pagan/Black),Golem (Death/melodic sometimes), Die Apokalyptischen Reiter(Mix
Death/Black/Metal), Blood, Arcane Sun and some more. Ist a mix of a lot different styles in Metal, but thats cool for us. Christoph from Ars did a good promotion for us here in germany and outside he tries too, we try
to do our part too and get in touch with Zines and Bands, people as good
as can. I´m realy satisfied with the developement of the Band and the help of
Ars metalli and hope we can reach more with the next CD.
Some Harmony dies member has another band or parale project?
Our 2nd Guitarguy Jens has a Band Disgorged  (Berlin,germany), and our Vocalist Chris  does a Blackmetal Sideproject, but their Mainband is H.D..
What other german bands you can recommend us and who practice a similar style to harmony dies?
There are some good german Bands here, i would say:  Purgatory- realy good Band, fast brutal stuff ; Profanity -fast and brutal but technical too ; Necrophagist - they´re killer in music mix of Suffocation, Death
and so on ; Cerebrocide - realy good Death Metal Band sometimes melodic stuff ;
Golem - Death Metal a lot influences from Carcass(Necroticism, Heartwork style). I could give you some more the Death scene here in germany has some good bands now.
