MACABRE
"Dahmer"
Olympic / Century Media
.Murder metal , serial killer metal
.it would be a waste of
time to try to sort or label such personal original and unique kind of
music like this. I had lost track of this band since the magnificent "Sinister
slaughter" and this DAHMER is truly a great comeback , just
in case some dumbass doesn't known who JEFFREY DAHMER was, he might
have been the last great serial killer of the 20th century. It takes MACABRE
53 minutes and 26 songs to enact the butcher of Milwaukee's life. Mr.
Dahmer's life is told with a great sense of humor , politically incorrect
, and full of a kind of sarcasm we barley find in today's music scene.MACABRE
line-up remains the same .These three music psychos know how to handle
their instruments to perfection. MACABRE displays elements form
classic death metal, punk, blues, and jazz (specially on drums). More
interesting is the way they bring all these elements together in such
perfect way creating musical variety, and turning their musical prowess
into power , originality and brutality. Since MACABRE can't be
compared to any other band , it certainly feels refreshing to listen to
"Dahmer", The vocal assault also shows variety and fits just
right; guttural vocals, maniac in agony-like vocals and normal, punk-like
vocals in some tracks. I just hope they achieve the recognition they deserve.
If you get a hold this album , don't think twice and buy it, its one of
the best.
